He has taught guitar repair and construction courses at Boston's Berkley College of Music and the Evergreen State College. Eric is best known for impeccable craftsmanship, extreme attention to clients' needs, and an almost clairvoyant ability to bring out the best in an instrument.
Meticulous fretwork is done using tension jigs for ultimate accuracy, and Eric has pioneered fingerboard preparation and finishing techniques that enhance tone and playability as well as duplicating the look and feel of the finest vintage patinas
